Patients often ask: "What’s the best hearing aid for me?"
The truth is, the best fit really depends on your lifestyle. If you spend most of your time in quiet environments—like at home, running errands, or having one-on-one conversations—you may do well with a basic hearing aid.
However, if you're regularly in noisier places—like restaurants, meetings, or large social gatherings—then we recommend considering at least the middle technology level. Lower-tier models may pick up too much background noise and can make it harder to focus on what you want to hear.
Basic level
Quiet LIfestyle
$1,250 per ear
$2,500 per pair
This level is best suited for those who are primarily at home or in quiet environments with minimal background noise. It provides essential support for improved hearing in calm settings.
Examples: Watching TV, 1:1 conversation, doctor’s appointments, quiet home settings
Mid Level
Moderately social lifestyle
$2,450 per ear
$4,900 per pair
Those who enjoy a balance of quiet and social environments. This level provides stronger support in background noise than basic models, making it ideal for daily conversations in moderately noisy settings.
Examples: small to mid sized social gatherings, workplace interactions, restaurants
advanced Level
highly social lifestyle
$3,150 per ear
$6,300 per pair
This level is designed for individuals who are regularly in large, dynamic environments. You lead a very active lifestyle and often find yourself struggling to hear in group settings or noisy places.
Examples: large group conversations, parties, busy restaurants and meetings, outdoor events and travel
what’s next?
I’m happy to go over everything in more detail and answer any remaining questions!
You can schedule:
An in-person visit (where you’ll have the chance to listen to a hearing aid in the office), or
A phone or video consultation, if that’s more convenient.
A few additional things to note:
Devices come with a 3-year manufacturer warranty, which means if a repair is needed, there's no out-of-pocket cost during that period.
You’ll have a 30-day trial period. If you decide to return the hearing aids during this time, I retain 10% of the purchase price to account for my time and the manufacturer’s restocking fee.
You may have an insurance benefit — I’m happy to check that for you.
