A full diagnostic hearing test (audiogram) performed by a Doctor of Audiology to measure hearing across pitches and word understanding. Results are explained clearly and help guide next steps.

hearing aids & professional care


Hearing aids and professional care are provided to support patients at every stage of hearing aid use, from initial consultation through ongoing adjustments and follow-up care.

  • For those exploring hearing aids for the first time or upgrading. We review your test results, daily listening needs, and budget to recommend appropriate options.

    Hearing aid pricing, including professional care, starts at $3,500.

  • One-on-one training for new devices, including real-ear measurements to ensure your hearing aids are precisely fit to your needs. Learn insertion and removal, daily care, battery or rechargeable use, smartphone pairing, and what to expect during the adjustment period.

  • For Yu Audiology patients: programming adjustments, follow-up visits, cleanings, supply replacements, and repairs (minor in-office or manufacturer-sent) to keep devices performing at their best.

concierge services


Concierge services include care provided outside of standard in-office visits, such as tele-health appointments and home visits, for patients who require additional flexibility.

  • A 30-minute video session to answer your questions about hearing aids, review your current devices (if applicable), and discuss your listening needs. With so many options available, it’s easy to feel uncertain — this consultation provides clear, professional guidance on what solutions are most appropriate for you.

    Fee: $100 (may be applied toward in-office services or new hearing aids within 30 days).

  • Available within 10 miles of Rockville (20850) for patients who cannot travel to the office. Services may include fittings, programming, cleaning, or troubleshooting.

    Travel fee: $100, plus applicable service fees. Contact our office to coordinate scheduling.

  • Personalized education for caregivers and family members to support hearing aid use and communication at home. Training may include daily use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and communication strategies.

    Sessions may be provided in the home, virtually, or on-site at senior living communities and nursing facilities.

    Educational talks and community outreach for senior centers and nonprofit organizations may be available on a limited basis at no charge.

hearing aids purchased elsewhere


If the devices are compatible, we offer fittings, programming, and cleanings at a patient fee of $200/hour, charged in 15-minute increments. Older or unsupported models may not be compatible.

  • If your hearing aids are more than 5 years old, we may not be able to program or adjust them due to manufacturer software and compatibility limitations.
